Gevora Hotel: World’s tallest hotel inaugurated at Dubai

Gevora Hotel has 75-floors , it stands 356 meter tall towards the sky.

Dubai|MNN| Gulf metropolis Dubai announced the opening of Gevora Hotel “world’s new tallest hotel”  on Sunday adding another beautiful landmark in the city of skyscrapers,Dubai.

Dubai already holds the tallest building in the world, Burj Khalifa , which is 828 metres tall(near half a mile). Gevora hotel is the new record holder in terms of hotels .

Gevora hotel is only one meter taller than its predecessor – Dubai’s JW Mariott Marquis. It has 75 storeys and is 356 meter tall, while the JW Mariott Marquis has 72 storeys and is 355 meter tall. The measurements are taken from ground level to the top of a hotel’s mast.

The world’s tallest hotel is three times taller than London’s Big Ben, 56 meter taller than Paris’s Eiffel Tower. The Gevora Hotel has a total of six elevators and 3,859 stairs.

Gevora hotel is situated at the Sheikh Zayed Road near the Dubai International Financial Center . Gevora Hotel has 528 guest rooms and suites and four restaurants.

The guests entrance at Gevora is through gold-plated revolving doors .

The rooftop of the hotel has a restaurant that provides a panoramic view of the Dubai.

In the menu of the restaurant at the hotel , there are variety of international and local cuisines.

One of the key attraction is that Gevora hotel has the highest pools overlooking , the Burj Khalifa (the tallest building in the world).

The furnishing and atmosphere of the hotel’s luxury is quite excellent.

The world’s tallest hotel has all required comforts which includes pools, jacuzzis, health club and a luxury spa.

The hotel’s building was under construction since 2008 and was inaugurated on February 12.

Dubai also has world’s busiest airport for the fourth year in the world with passengers count of about 88.3 millions.

The city also has opulent shopping malls, numerous luxury resorts and even an indoor ski resort.
