Income Tax department conducts raid at properties of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath’s nephew, aides in Indore, Delhi. Meanwhile, searches are being carried out at different locations across the country including Bhopal, Indore, Goa and 35 locations in Delhi by more than 300 I-T officials
New Delhi/Indore:MNN:The Income Tax officials on early Sunday morning conducted raids at the properties of Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath’s nephew Ratul Puri and Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in Indore and close aide in Delhi.
A 15-member team of I-T sleuths started the raid at the residence and official premises of Nath’s OSD Praveen Kakkar in Indore at 3 am in the morning in connection with alleged tax evasion case, as per media reports.
Income Tax raid is also underway at the residence of RK Miglani, a close aide of Madhya Pradesh CM Kamal Nath’s in Delhi’s Green Park.

Meanwhile, searches are being carried out at different locations across the country including Bhopal, Indore, Goa and 35 locations in Delhi by more than 300 I-T officials.
Earlier this week, I-T raids were conducted at Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders in Andhra Pradesh.
Condemning the raids, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu warned the I-T officials of “serious consequences”.
He also staged a sit-in protest, alleging that the raids were being conducted at the behest of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the run-up to Lok Sabha elections.
